✔ Children under 6 years of age

: 2–6 times per day; 1 spray per 4kg of body weight (maximum 4 sprays per dose)

​

✔ Children aged 6 years and older, under 12 years of age

: 2–6 times per day; 4 sprays per dose

​

✔ Adults

: 2–6 times per day; 4–8 sprays per dose

Maintaining good daily habits is also very important for oral health.

Using oral care products alongside the following lifestyle habits can be even more beneficial.

​

1. Stay well hydrated

: It helps prevent dry mouth and reduce bacteria inside the mouth.

2. Maintaining oral cleanliness

: Brushing and flossing can help lower the likelihood of inflammation occurring.

3. Avoiding irritating foods

but it is actually a product with the same active ingredient as the existing 탄툼 베르데 네뷸라이저.

It has addressed the shortcomings of the existing 탄툼 베르데 네뷸라이저,

and can be thought of as a renewed product designed so that even children can use it without resistance.

The existing 탄툼 베르데 네뷸라이저 contained ethanol and had a strong mint flavour,

which made it somewhat difficult for children to use.

By contrast, 챔푸 구강 스프레이 excludes ethanol and adds a strawberry flavour,

which is its distinguishing feature in reducing resistance among young children.

​

Having tried it myself, I felt it was made to taste quite pleasant.

Since it is a medicine, parents should supervise their children nearby to ensure it is not taken in excessive amounts.

Another notable point is

that there is no separately specified minimum age restriction for use.

​

Looking at overseas information, benzydamine-based sprays

are mentioned in overseas guidelines such as the UK NHS as being usable from infants aged 1 month and older,

while countries with more conservative standards, such as those in Europe and Australia, may recommend use from age 2 years (24 months) and older.

This is due to the characteristics of the spray formulation rather than any issue with the active ingredient itself.

For very young infants around the age of one, there is a very rare risk that a sudden spray of liquid to the back of the throat may cause them to reflexively stop breathing, choke, or experience laryngeal spasm.

Therefore, it is my personal opinion that use is not recommended for very young infants,

and if use is unavoidable — for example, for hand, foot and mouth disease or stomatitis — I recommend taking care not to spray deep into the throat and using an appropriate amount.

However, there are many cases where people find it difficult to use oral care products because of their distinctive scent or taste. 💦
